Rep. Charlie Rangel, D-N.Y., took to Twitter today to chide Republican presidential candidate and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie for a run-in with Amtrak passengers Sunday, when he was asked to leave the quiet car for making too much noise.

Christie, who was seen drinking what appeared to be a smoothie, was riding a northbound Amtrak train from Washington, D.C., after a Sunday news show appearance.

He spent the rest of his commute in the train's cafe car after breaking the "cardinal rule" of the quiet car, a Christie rep said.

Earlier this month, Rangel tweeted about making smoothies after the cancellation of the House GOP leadership election following House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy's decision not to run for speaker.

"Most days in Congress, I make a smoothie to get my extra serving of fruit," Rangel wrote in his cookbook, "The Rangel Resolution Recipe Book."

The New York Democrat's signature tropical smoothie calls for one cup of ice, a banana, five strawberries, one cup of pineapple slices and ginger tea.
