Construction worker injured in Bedford-Stuyvesant

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A construction worker was injured in Brooklyn on late Monday afternoon.

It happened at Columbus Place and Atlantic Avenue in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section around 5:30 p.m.

The FDNY responded to the scene.

The worker was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition.

The New York City Department of Buildings is investigating the incident.
