Crown Heights stabbing leaves teen dead, 2 others hurt

CROWN HEIGHTS (WABC) -- A teenager is dead and two other people are hurt after a fight broke out in Brooklyn late Monday.

The incident happened near East New York and Buffalo avenues at Lincoln Terrace Park in Crown Heights around 11:30 p.m.

Police say an 18-year-old man was stabbed in the chest and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 17-year-old boy was wounded in the arm and a 21-year-old man in the leg, but their injuries are not considered life threatening.

Both victims are listed in stable condition at Kings County hospital.

There are no arrests at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.

The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification.
