Surveillance video shows the 2 suspects wanted for damaging a duck mascot on Long Island

PLAINVIEW, New York (WABC) -- Police in Nassau County are looking for the vandals who toppled a daycare duck.

The duck is a mascot that sits outside the Shalom Day Care Center in Plainview.

Surveillance video posted on the center's Facebook page shows 2 vandals toppling the duck just before midnight on Saturday.

The assistant director of the center says fiber glass duck, which costs around $500, sustained damage and needs repairs.

Children who attend the day care just voted to name the duck Quacker Jack.
