Elderly couple tied up, robbed at gunpoint in Bronx home invasion

SOUNDVIEW, Bronx (WABC) -- Police are searching for three suspects in a home invasion in the Bronx in which an elderly couple was tied up and robbed at gunpoint.

The three male suspects were caught on surveillance camera.

Police say at around 3 a.m. Wednesday they entered a home in the vicinity of Evergreen Avenue and Wheeler Avenue in the Soundview section.

Once inside, they tied the wrists of the couple in their bedroom with zip locks and duct taped their eyes shut.

They demanded money and the couple complied.

The suspects fled with an undetermined amount of cash, cell phones and credit cards. The couple refused medical attention at the scene.

The male individuals are described as male Hispanics. One of the males is seen carrying a black plastic bag.
