UPPER EAST SIDE, Manhattan (WABC) -- A father called police after a stranger tried to pinch his five-month-old on the Upper East Side.
The stranger spotted the father and infant in a stroller at the intersection of East 72nd Street and 1st Avenue just after 5 p.m.
The stranger told the father, "what a cute baby," and attempted to pinch the five month old.
The father reacted by elbowing the stranger in the face.
The stranger ran away, south on 1st Avenue, and the father called police.
Police responded but could not locate the stranger. The investigation is continuing.
