Small Queens apartment fire causes evacuation

LONG ISLAND CITY (WABC) -- A fire at the Queensbridge Houses in Long Island City Tuesday morning is now under control.

The fire started at approximately 10:42 a.m. on the fourth floor of the six-story building at 40-01 12th St.

There were two minor injuries and those patients were taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital. Three others were evaluated at the scene but refused medical attention.
