Lost engagement ring returned after random act of kindness

CARROLL GARDENS (WABC) -- An engagement ring is back on a bride-to-be's finger after a random act of kindness in Brooklyn. '

Rhiannon O'Leary lost her ring last week on the streets of Carroll Gardens. The ring has gems from relatives that are 150 years old.

O'Leary and her fiance, Nick Sheehan scoured their apartment with no luck. O'Leary went on Craigslist to post a missing ad, and that is when she saw a post that read "Found - Engagement Ring".

Artist Simone Duff spotted the ring in the gutter. She papered the neighborhood, and posted on Craigslist.

O'Leary says she won't be taking the ring off any time soon. She plans to get married in California in September.
