SEAFORD (WABC) -- Police on Long Island have arrested a man accused of firing guns on his property near an elementary school.

Authorities say 55-year-old Michael Marron, of Seaford, had a metal suit of armor target riddled with bullet holes on his rear fence, which borders the Seaford Harbor Elementary School yard.

Marron allegedly fired a rifle and BB guns at the target.

Officers say Marron had drugs on him when they arrested him Saturday morning. He reported was in possession of cocaine and 19 hydromorphone hydrochloride pills, a derivative of morphine.

He is charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of prohibitions on the use and possession of firearms.
