Man and woman wanted in Columbus Circle thefts

NEW YORK (WABC) -- Police are releasing surveillance photos of two people suspected of stealing from women in Columbus Circle.

Detectives say the man and woman took bags that were placed on benches by their owners, at the Time Warner Center.

One of the thefts was inside the shopping center. The other three benches were in front of the building.

The four incidents happened between September 20th and October 12th.

The man is described as between 40-50 years old, with salt and pepper short hair and was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt.

The woman is described as between 40-50 years old, last seen wearing a blue jacket and blue jeans with brown boots and what appeared to be a bandanna on her head.
