Long Island man arrested in 27-year-old woman's strangulation death

GREENPORT, Long Island (WABC) -- A Long Island man is under arrest, accused of strangling a woman to death in Greenport.

Authorities say 23-year-old Jaime DeLeon-Tino killed 27-year-old Michelle Schiavoni, who was found dead inside her 2nd Street home Monday.

He was taken into custody Tuesday and is charged with second-degree murder.
