Man found shot in 7-Eleven parking lot in Baldwin

BALDWIN, Long Island (WABC) -- Police are investigating an assault on Long Island late Monday night.

According to Nassau County Police Department, police responded to a 7-Eleven parking lot just before midnight at 1289 Grand Ave.

They found a man, 20, with a gunshot wound to the chest.

A man was seen getting into a black sedan and fleeing.

The victim was taken to a local hospital and is critical. The investigation is ongoing.
