Man robbed of backpack in Central Park

EAST HARLEM, Manhattan (WABC) -- A 26-year-old man was robbed of his backpack in Central Park Wednesday night.

Police say the victim was mugged at the softball fields off the East Drive, between east 96th and 99th streets, around 9 p.m.

The suspects ran off.

No arrests were made, and the victim was not injured.
