Police searching for suspect after man slashed on Upper East Side

UPPER EAST SIDE (WABC) -- Police are looking for two suspects after a subway slashing on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.

Investigators say a 23-year-old man was attacked just after 4 p.m. Saturday in the 4/5/6 station at 59th Street and Lexington Avenue.

Investigators say the man had gotten in a dispute with two men and one slashed him with a box cutter.

The victim suffered cuts to the face, chest and arm. He was taken to Bellevue Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

So far police have made no arrests.
