Man tosses unknown substance in bus driver's face in Inwood

Police are searching for a man accused of attacking an MTA bus driver in upper Manhattan early Saturday, and they're hoping surveillance video will lead to an arrest.

The video shows the suspect running on Sherman Avenue in Inwood around 4 a.m.

Police say the bus was stopped when the suspect sprayed the driver with an unknown substance through his window.

The bus driver was treated for eye irritation.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 20 years old, 5-foot-7, with a light complexion. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, black jeans and white sneakers.
