Manhunt underway after woman stabbed to death in Glen Cove

GLEN COVE, NY (WABC) -- Police are investigating a deadly stabbing on Long Island, and they are hoping the public can help identify a suspect.

On Thursday, March 26, at approximately at 3:15 p.m., authorities say 32-year-old Yanira Estele Canjura Martinez was found stabbed to death in the rear of a home on Glen Street in Glen Cove.

The suspect is an unknown Hispanic male.

Authorities say the victim was walking south on Pearsall Avenue when she was fatally assaulted.

Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department Homicide Squad are seeking the public's help in identifying the suspect in connection with the homicide.
