Students carrying shop equipment apparently sparked a lockdown at Edward R. Murrow High School in Brooklyn.

According to officials, a teacher reported seeing three individuals who she didn't recognize carrying what she thought to be knives in the building around 1:00 p.m.

She reported it and officials placed the school on lockdown.

Dozens of anxious parents showed up at the school as seen in photos shared via Twitter.
