Motorcyclist killed in Williamsburg Bridge wreck

A 24-year-old motorcyclist was killed when he was eastbound on the Williamsburg Bridge just after 3:45 a.m.

WILLIAMSBURG, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A motorcyclist was killed in a wreck Thursday morning on the Williamsburg Bridge.

Authorities say the 24-year-old was eastbound when he struck a section of the bridge just after 3:45 a.m.

The force of the collision then sent him into an SUV, which ran over him.

The SUV driver remained at the scene.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at Woodhull Medical Center.
