Motorcyclist collides with car making u-turn

JACKSON HEIGHTS, Queens (WABC) -- Police are looking for a hit-and-run driver in a motorcycle crash in Queens.

Around 4:30 p.m. Aug. 19, at 85-21 37th Ave., a 21-year-old man was driving his motorcycle east on 37th Avenue when the suspect's vehicle tied to make a U-turn in front of him.

The motorcycle collided with the vehicle, and the victim was thrown off the motorcycle. The vehicle then fled west on 37th.

The victim broke his hand and was taken to Elmhurst General Hospital in serious but stable condition.

The suspect's vehicle is described as a red Cadillac SRS Sport Utility Vehicle. The driver is described as a white or Hispanic man, 20-30 years old, with black hair.
