It is alleged that in 1995, Honsch shot his Wife Marcia in the head. Her body was discovered by a hiker near the entrance to Tolland State Forest, in western Massachusetts.

A week prior to this event the body of another female, also shot in the head, was discovered behind a strip mall in New Britain, Connecticut.
