Oyster Bay official arrested in corruption case

OYSTER BAY, N.Y. (WABC) -- A Nassau County restaurant owner was arrested at his home on corruption charges.

Harendra Singh will be arraigned in federal court in Central Islip on Wednesday.

He will be charged with bribery of an unnamed Oyster Bay official, who also was arrested Wednesday morning.

Singh is suspected of bribing the official as part of a deal to provide food and beverages at town locations.
