PATERSON, New Jersey (WABC) -- Laurice Kalyoussef lost almost everything in Tuesday's house explosion in Paterson, New Jersey.

Her house had to be demolished Friday for safety reasons, but it's what one worker found in the rubble that has her feeling hopeful.

One worker dug out Kalyoussef's wedding album, filled with memories from her home of 45 years.

Kalyoussef says that having the photos means so much more, especially after her husband died two years ago.

To the worker who looked for sentimental tokens in the rubble, she said "thank you very much."

"She lost everything, everything," said Julia Kalyoussef, the victim's sister-in-law who used to live at the home.

A few other possession also made it through the blast, such as a fully-intact family china bowl.

For now, Kalyoussef remains grateful for her family, the clothes on her back and for the fact that the love captured in her wedding photos withstood the most devastating blast.
