Queens hit-and-run leaves pedestrian hurt; NYPD searching for driver

QUEENS, N.Y. (WABC) -- Police are looking for a driver involved in a serious hit-and-run incident that left a pedestrian hurt.

A person was critically injured around 5 a.m. Saturday at Merrick Boulevard between Hook Creek Boulevard and 244th Street in the Bellerose section of Queens.

The vehicle fled the scene. The victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital.

Police are looking for a white Nissan Altima.
