Pedestrian in Bayonne killed by garbage truck

BAYONNE, New Jersey (WABC) -- A pedestrian was fatally struck by a garbage truck in New Jersey Friday morning.

The pedestrian died at the scene of the crash, at Avenue C and 55th Street in Bayonne.

The garbage truck stayed at the scene. Avenue C was closed for the investigation.
