Police investigating trespassing incident on Williamsburg Bridge

NEW YORK (WABC) -- Police are investigating a trespassing incident on the Williamsburg Bridge.

At least two people were spotted on one of the bridge's stone pillars Wednesday night.

Eyewitnesses posted pictures on social media of the pair sitting in the restricted area.

The two were apparently taking pictures, and police say they did not pose a security threat.

The NYPD is looking into the incident but have not identified the suspects.
