UPPER EAST SIDE, Manhattan (WABC) -- Police released new pictures of suspects in three of nine recent break-ins, all on the Upper East Side.

Investigators said a man with a cane broke into an apartment on East 83rd Street on March 21 between 8:20 a.m. and 8:40 p.m.

According to the New York City Police Department, the man entered the apartment and took a Thinkpad, charge, and jewelry. He is described as a 50- to 60 year-old Hispanic man with a cane.

Two other men are linked to two other break-ins the same day.

On March 21, between 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., a man walked into an apartment on East 91st Street and took an Apple laptop, Louis Vuitton bag, a watch, jewelry, Apple Macbook, Beats headphones, and a checkbook.

The same day during the same period, at the same building on 91st Street, a man went into an apartment, but fled without taking anything.

Police are investigating a rash of similar break-ins across the Upper East Side of Manhattan that has residents on edge.

There have been nine incidents in last two months, all in a 10-block radius between East 82nd and East 92nd streets, between Lexington and First avenues. Police are looking for three suspects.

The residential burglaries stretch from Feb. 10 to March 21, and each time, the suspect or suspects made off with cash and jewelry.

At this point, authorities have no description of the suspect, but anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
