Police exchange gunfire with robbery suspect in Eatontown, NJ

EATONTOWN, New Jersey (WABC) -- Police in New Jersey are searching for an armed suspect who exchanged gun fire with police.

Investigators say the suspect robbed a pharmacy around 8 p.m. Tuesday in Eatontown.

As he was trying to get away, he was confronted by police and opened fire.

The suspect managed to get away in a car.
