Police in Brooklyn searching for man who choked, exposed himself to women

PARK SLOPE (WABC) -- Police are searching for a suspect wanted in two separate attacks on women in Brooklyn last week.

The attacks occurred on 16th Street near Fifth Avenue in Park Slope.

In the first, between 4 and 5 a.m. on July 20th, a 34-year-old woman was unlocking her door of her building when a man said 'Can you let me in? I live here.'

She declined and observed him exposing himself through his pants. He pushed her into the foyer of the building, she started screaming and he ran off.

In the second incident, on July 21st, a 26-year-old woman was walking her dog on 16th Street when the man with the same description approached from behind, choked her around the neck and pushed her into a parked car. She screamed and the man ran off.

The suspect is described as man in his late teens or early 20s wearing a blue and orange short-sleeved shirt and a backpack.
