Police looking for suspect in Upper East Side groping
Police are searching for man who groped woman as she entered her home in Yorkville

NEW YORK (WABC) -- Police are looking for a man who groped a woman going into her Upper East Side apartment.

At 4 a.m. on July 18, a 25-year-old woman was going into her building at East 89th Street and York Avenue, when she was approached from behind by the suspect.

He grabbed her buttocks and private area, then fled on foot on East 89th toward York. There were no reported injuries as a result of this incident.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, about 28 to 35 years old, between 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 11 inches, and 190 pounds. He was wearing a Yankee baseball cap, dark blue shirt short-sleeved shirt and dark blue jeans.
