New York City police seek well-dressed suspect in subway station pickpocketing

NEW YORK (WABC) -- New York City police are looking for the man they believe stole a woman's wallet at a 34th Street subway station last week.

The well-dressed suspect was walking behind a 26-year-old woman as she exited the "1", "2" and "3" subway station at 34th Street and 7th Avenue on July 16, police said.

He then allegedly took her wallet, containing $70 in cash, two credit cards and a debit card. The incident occurred at approximately 5:20 p.m.

Police described the suspect as a bald man in his 40s. He is seen in surveillance video at the subway station wearing a suit and tie.
