REGO PARK (WABC) -- Police are looking for a crew of armed robbers who struck at a jewelry store in Queens, and they're hoping surveillance video will lead to arrests.
The caught-on-camera incident happened just before 2 p.m. on September 5 at a store on Queens Boulevard in Rego Park.
Three men entered the business, and one of them displayed a firearm and discharged one round into the floor.
The suspects then removed numerous pieces of jewelry and fled in a gray BMW X3.
No victims were injured.
Police say one of the men also tried to rob a jewelry store on Myrtle Avenue in Glendale just after noon on August 6.
One person in that store, a 64-year-old man, was pistol-whipped, but he declined medical attention.
No property was taken.
