BROOKLYN, N.Y. (WABC) -- Investigators will work Tuesday to determine the cause of a brush fire in Prospect Park in Brooklyn Monday night.
It started around 8:30 p.m. in the southwest portion of the park and was put out about an hour later. About 60 firefighters responded to scene.
The fire covered the area between Center Drive and the ballfields, which have been under restoration after heavy use last year.
No one was injured.
There's no word on how the fire began. Fire marshals are investigating.
