Rat enters subway car, stirs up morning commute

NEW YORK (WABC) -- The lull of a typical morning commute quickly swung into a frantic scene when straphangers became trapped in a subway car with a rat on Monday.

Riding the subway to work, Jinais Kader caught the hysteria on camera after a rat entered the downtown 'A' train at the Fulton Street station.

Although a passenger exiting the train did try to warn those inside of the unwelcomed guest, by the time the straphangers realized what was going on the doors had closed.

They were stuck with the rodent until the doors reopened at the next stop in Brooklyn.
