HACKENSACK, N.J. ( (WABC) -- A body found in a northern New Jersey park this week has been positively identified as that of a woman who died of a drug overdose more than a year ago.

Bergen County prosecutors say the remains of 18-year-old Mila Kostadinova, of Dumont, were found Wednesday at Palisades Interstate Park. She had been reported missing by her family in June 2014.

Authorities have said Kostadinova died at the Cresskill home of her friend, Antony Freay, who allegedly dumped her body in the park within hours of her death.

The 19-year-old Freay was arrested the same day the body was found. He faces numerous charges, including desecrating or damaging human remains and hindering apprehension by concealing evidence and providing false information.

It wasn't known Saturday if Freay has retained an attorney.
