Sea lion captured after wandering on to streets in San Francisco

Sea lion rescued after getting loose in SF
A sea lion was rescued after it got loose on the streets of San Francisco.

SAN FRANCISCO -- The Marine Mammal Center has safely captured a male sea lion pup that apparently wandered on to the streets in the Marina District of San Francisco.

The sea lion was sitting under an SUV on Divasadero Street and Marina Boulevard right across the street from the Bay around 6:30 Thursday morning. Crews were able to safely capture the sea lion just before 7 a.m.
