Small explosion reported at Mount Sinai Hospital School of Medicine

NEW YORK (WABC) -- The FDNY is on the scene of a small explosion at Mount Sinai Hospital School of Medicine, adjacent to the hospital.

Sprinklers went off after the explosion and the Upper East Side lab was evacuated at around 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Haz-Mat crews are investigating the cause of the explosion.

There are no injuries reported at this time.
