Police say a woman whose body was found in Pennypack Park may have been strangled while out jogging.

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA -- Sources have identified the woman whose body was found in a park near a Northeast Philadelphia cemetery on Tuesday.

A cemetery worker found the body, identified by sources as 46-year-old Connie McClain-Murray, at 6:00 a.m. in Pennypack Park near the Crispin Recreation Center at Holme and Convent avenues.

At first sources told Action News there were no obvious signs of trauma to the body.

But the case has now been turned over to homicide detectives.

Police tell Action News they believe the victim may have been strangled while out jogging.
