SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- A Sullivan County woman has come forward to collect a $126 million jackpot won in a recent Mega Millions drawing.

Tammy Pratt, a real estate broker from South Fallsburg, was introduced Wednesday as the sole winner of the jackpot drawn on Feb. 27.

She was presented with an over-sized prize at Monticello Casino and Raceway in Sullivan County, 75 miles northwest of New York City.

The jackpot-winning ticket was sold at the South Fallsburg Food Mart.

Pratt said she was between real estate appointments when she stopped for gas in her Sullivan County hometown. Noticing the jackpot for the upcoming drawing had topped $100 million, she bought $4 worth of tickets instead of her usual $1. One of her Quick Pick tickets hit the jackpot.

She chose the lump sum payment, and will net about $54 million after taxes.

State lottery officials say an upstate New York county has its second winner of a huge jackpot in recent months.

On Jan. 12, Harold Diamond of Wurtsboro in Sullivan County was announced as the sole winner of a $326 million Mega Millions jackpot drawn on Nov. 4, 2014.

The lottery office also announced Monday that the jackpot-winning ticket for last Saturday's $136 million Powerball drawing was sold at convenience store on Staten Island.
