Suspect wanted for robbing Upper East Side deli with shotgun

UPPER EAST SIDE (WABC) -- Police on the Upper East Side are searching for a suspect who robbed a deli with a shotgun.

It happened Tuesday at 8:10 a.m. in side of Elim Deli Caf located on Lexington Avenue at 65th Street.

The suspect entered the shop and took out a shotgun and demanded money.

The suspect racked the shot gun several times, it appeared to jam, and he then fled northbound on Lexington Avenue without anything.

No one was injured.

Suspect is described as 6'0" tall man, 165lbs, last seen wearing a sleeveless white shirt, and blue pants.
