Teen accidentally kills self while posing with gun, police say

PATHANKOT, Punjab -- A teenage boy in India is dead after authorities say he accidentally shot himself while taking a selfie.

Police say Ramandeep Singh, 15, was posing with his father's pistol Friday evening when he accidentally pulled the trigger.

The safety was not on.

The teen was taken to the hospital, but died of his injuries on Sunday.
