CANARSIE (WABC) -- The search is on for an attacker after a teenager was raped in Brooklyn. Police released new surveillance video of the suspect on Wednesday.

The 19-year-old said she was walking on Rockaway Parkway in Canarsie when a man grabbed her and dragged her into an alley. The suspect, holding a gun to her back, allegedly forced her to walk down the alley. It was dark at the time, and many people tell Eyewitness News they had their air conditioners on at the time, so even if she fought back and screamed, there is a good chance no one would have heard her.

"It's a little nerve wracking, because I'm always coming home late at night," says Melanie Ramos.

Exclusive video shows a man walking who fits the description of a suspect police are looking for, a man who police say raped the teen at gunpoint behind Ramos' home.

"To be on top of everything, normally I keep my video on with a flashlight when I walk in an alley," Ramos adds.

The incident unfolded after midnight. The 19-year-old said she was walking on Rockaway Parkway when the suspect headed towards her. He had on Hawaiian print shorts and a t-shirt wrapped over his head. The chilling part, the victim told detectives that as the man passed her, he pulled out a gun, held it to her back, and forced her to walk down the dark alley. She said the entire time, he was wearing a white mask. Once in the backyard, she said he pulled down her pants and raped her.

Police flooded the neighborhood to search for the suspect, who is described as a black male, about 56, weighing 180 pounds.

The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital where doctors examined.

Police also released a sketch of the suspect and say he also attacked a second victim the same night.
