Truck crashes through barrier, dangles off bridge in Little Ferry

LITTLE FERRY (WABC) -- It was a wild scene in New Jersey after a man escaped unharmed after his truck crashed through a barrier leaving him dangling off of a bridge.

The accident happened Saturday afternoon on Route 46 in Little Ferry. The truck was propped up by a billboard.

The driver says the traffic made him hit the brakes. The truck and the trailer then skidded and hit the two cars before it, careening off the bridge.

Three people suffered minor injuries.

Route 46 remains closed Saturday night.
