SOUNDVIEW, Bronx (WABC) -- The NYPD is searching for a pair of violent muggers in the Bronx, and they're hoping surveillance video will lead to arrests.

The incident happened early Friday morning, as the victim was returning to his home in the vicinity of Croes Avenue and Watson Avenue in the Soundview section.

That's when authorities two men attacked 35-year-old Eddie Diaz, knocking him to the ground before punching and slashing him with an unknown sharp object.

They got away with his wallet, which had just $10 inside, before fleeing northbound on Croes Avenue on bicycles.
