VIDEO: Brazen thieves 'switch out' jewelry

OKLAHOMA (WABC) -- The search is on for serial jewelry switchers.

The thieves ask salespeople to look at a piece of jewelry in Oklahoma. The man says he wants to set up a store account and has to get his ID from the car. He then leaves the store.

The woman then uses the distraction to subtly swap a fake ring for the real one.

Workers at another jewelry store say the thieves stole a $32,000 ring. Investigators are looking into whether a similar stunt is connected to the pair.
