MORRIS HEIGHTS, Bronx (WABC) -- The NYPD is hoping surveillance video will lead them to a gunman who shot three people in the Bronx Thursday.

The man opened fire on a livery cab on East 183rd Street in the Morris Heights section.

Two passengers, a 21-year-old woman and 23-year-old man were shot in the torso, but survived.

The victims were taken to area hospitals in stable condition.
