BAYSIDE, Queens (WABC) -- Disturbing video captured a group of robbers attacking a woman in Queens, and authorities believe the suspects are responsible for string of incidents throughout the borough.
A manhunt is underway for the suspects, who the NYPD says have struck at least three times.
The crime spree began around 11:30 p.m. on May 25, when police say two men approached a 54-year-old woman in the vicinity of 59th Avenue and 138th Street. They shoved her to the ground and took her purse, making off with $90 in cash, a cell phone and credit cards before fleeing in a gray sedan.
They reportedly struck again five days later just before midnight in the vicinity of 45th Drive and Oceania Street. Police say one individual approached the 53-year-old female victim as she exited her vehicle, then shoved her to the ground and snatched her purse.
The man fled east in of a four-door sedan, making off with $2,000 in cash along with other items.
The third incident happened just after midnight on June 5 on Maple Avenue. Authorities say a suspect jumped from a van and attempted to steal a 39-year-old victim's purse. When she refused to let go, he pushed her down to the ground and took the purse with the help of a second suspect.
Both then jumped in the van in fled, stealing approximately $7,000 in cash along with 550 Euros, a cell phone and credit cards.
