7 On Your Side's Nina Pineda helped a family-owned restaurant that hadn't been paid for a state senator's campaign event.

HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, NY (WABC) -- Westchester County restaurateurs Michael and Maeva Rich say they were hired to host a fundraiser by New York State Senator Ruth Hassell-Thompson. That was last October. It was all part of the Senator's failed bid to become the Mayor of Mt. Vernon. The business owners say the event went off without a hitch. But now, months later, the owners of 40 North say they haven't collected a cent to pay off the $1,700 bill. Watch the complete story above.
