Woman critically injured after crashing car into driveway in Yonkers

YONKERS (WABC) -- A woman is in critical condition in Westchester County after crashing into a parked car.

The driver lost control, and her car ended up on its side in a driveway on Midland Avenue in Yonkers.

Eyewitnesses say they did not hear brakes screech before the crash.

The woman was the only person in the car, and was taken to Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville. No other drivers were involved.

Midland Avenue was closed Sunday morning as police investigated the cause of the accident.
