EAST NEW YORK (WABC) -- The search is on for a man who groped a woman before exposing himself in Brooklyn, and police are hoping a surveillance photo will lead to an arrest.

They've released an image of the man they say walked up to a 63-year-old woman near Grant and Atlantic avenues in East New York.

The incident happened just before 8:30 a.m. on August 5.

Authorities say he grabbed the victim's backside, exposed himself and ran away.

The suspect is described as a black male in his early to mid 20s, weighing approximately 140 to 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts with a red stripe down the sides, and red and white striped sneakers.
