Woman killed after tree falls on car in Colts Neck Township

COLTS NECK (WABC) -- Strong winds may be to blame for a tragic accident in New Jersey after a woman was killed when a tree fell on her car.

Police say 46-year-old Stacey Weathers was driving a Mustang convertible in Colts Neck Township when she was hit by the falling tree.

Weathers was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say she was alone in the car, and no other vehicles were involved.
